Jazz Improvisation Crash Course

Learn tips and tricks to improvise over popular jazz standards by learning more about jazz harmony in a fun and interactive group setting. We'll answer questions like, "What notes do I choose?" "How do I interact with my bandmates?" "What should I be listening for?" "How do I join in at a jam session?" At the last lesson of each session, we'll be joined by a drummer and bassist for a class jam session! Before taking this class, make sure you complete the Online Music Theory Course. This gives everyone a solid foundation we can use to build upon when learning to improvise!
