Jazz Improvisation Crash Course

Learn tips and tricks to improvise over popular jazz standards by learning more about jazz harmony in an interactive setting. We'll answer questions like, "What notes do I choose?" "How do I interact with my bandmates?" "What should I be listening for?" "How do I join in at a jam session?" At the last lesson of each session, we'll be joined by a drummer and bassist for a class jam session! Before taking this class, make sure you complete the Online Music Theory Course. This gives everyone a solid foundation we can use to build upon when learning to improvise!
